Hi Parents and Students readers,
This might be an interesting blogpost where both of parties can understand the reason for choosing a certain location and time for studying. Please do note that these are suggestions that we believed works best for students in preparing for their revision, but it differs in performance in casde-by-case basis.
In Accelerated Learning Technologies, one of the most crucial part is on Focus Learning. You will need to devote time and energy to concentrate and focus on your studying.

Dear Students and Parents,
GCE O Level Examination is just 2 months away and many Singapore students might have finished their Preliminary Examinations. There are still a group of students that will only start their Preliminary Examinations in 2 weeks time and unfortunately, based on their schools’ planning, it will eat into their September 1 week holiday. For those that have not done well for their Prelims, hang-on there! Keep Your Faith & Keep The Fighting Spirit Going - it is not your final marks for GCE O Level. There is still time for you to find the effective method to achieve grades that your truly deserved. And for those that are sitting for Prelims in 2 weeks time, revise well. It wont be easy but you can do it! Keep motivating yourself!!!!

Halo everyone,
Over last few years, many students that i spoke to always complaint to me about Mole Calculations. Parents that called up to ask for help in Chemistry for their child always never failed to mention that their child cannot understand and score the “Calculation part of Chemistry“.
Several months ago, we decided to start a poll/survey for readers of this chemistry blogsite to investigate on the biggest challenge that students faces in learning chemistry. Months later, we have more than 100 polls on their biggest challenge, and this exclude those that read this blog, but did not do their polling. There are certainly thousands and millions of students that do not know this chemistry blogsite yet. I certainly would like to know how they feel about it. Do feel free to forward this blogsite for their learning.

This will be an interesting blogpost. I was asked recently by a parent if my Intensive Bootcamp was being unreasonable at some point of “intensiveness” after she heard what the group of students (aka the ChemKidz) went through the bootcamp with me.
To put thing into perspective, the Intensive Bootcamp during the last week of June holiday was indeed “Intensive”. You want to know what we did there?? We have covered the Essential Basic Chemistry Concepts and Application Topics in 40hrs. To be more precise, in a short 40hrs (equal to 5 days from 9am - 5pm), we have covered 80% of the GCE O Level Curriculum that schools uses to teach in 1 1/2 years on a full time basis.

Time is 1.32am in the morning, and i just came back home from the 5 days Intensive Program in Singapore, Expo. Tired now, but rallying to go for Day 2 of the program.
During the seminar, many people ask me how difference is my Chemistry Coaching different from the mainstream teaching in Secondary Schools by their own MOE (Ministry of Education) teachers.
You know what is my answer?? Totally Different! In fact, i told them that i am NOT a teacher from MOE. And my coaching is different to theirs in the following ways (in points):

Many of the local students would have gotten their Mid-Year Examination results or are getting it soon. Some would be feeling ecstatic while others will be asking themselves if they have put in enough efforts in preparing for that examinations.
For those that did very well, i would like to congratulate you and do Keep Up The Good Work! But always remember not to get complacent with this Mid-Year results and neglect your preparation for upcoming Prelims and GCE O Levels Examinations. Too often, we have seen top scorers for Mid-Year Exams fumble in the more important major exams like Prelims and GCE O Levels - all due to the simple word ‘complacency’

For the last 2 weeks, i have been helping students to utilize their available time to maximize their learning towards Chemistry, in order to prepare them for the coming Mid-Year Examinations. We are focused on helping the students to unblock the wrong chemistry concepts in their minds and instilling the correct ones. At the same time, we are also putting in lots of effort to motivate our students so that they have high energy while preparing for their examinations.

This post is going to be controversial as many students, tutors, teachers and many parents is not going to accept it initially.
My partner “always Lovely” told me 2 weeks ago that she walked out of her A-Math individual coaching class when she found out that her student did not attempt the homework that was assigned to her. Her student was fabergasted and did not know what to do or say - she was shell-shocked - Never ever a tutor/coach has walked away in that fashion. I believe she was waiting for “Always Lovely” to nag at her abit and then continue with the class, as per normal. Initially, i got a shock also but after hearing from her more, i certainly believe she did the correct thing.
