Here are some common techniques that can be used as a reference to promote active and effective learning:

Just a few weeks ago, one of my current student under my Chemistry Coaching wings suddenly asked me to explain more about Nanotechnology when we came across a question on Fullerene (commonly known as BuckyBall) which signifies the entrance into the area of Nanotechnology. This has intrigued me to share more with my avid readers (mostly students).

We all know water is essential for life and we should drink 8 glasses of water to have a healthy body. We also learn in schools how our drinking water (portable water) are processed from water collecton points, before they are pumped into our water taps at home. We also learn in Chemistry Class that water molecule has a molecular formulae of H2O and that it exists as small covalent molecules.

I was coaching my students during the March Intensive Revision Program on Atoms and Bonding, and thought it would be interesting to find some funny videos on Atoms and Bonding. I managed to find one rap song on ATOM which i believe is a project as part of their curriculum. Well Done! Nice Rap!
